He and I or He and Me?

A pronoun (such as he, she, etc.) should be used with I when I would have been used if you were alone. For example:

He and I went to Hogwarts.

You would use he and I instead of he and me because you would say I went to the store if you were the only subject. I mean, which is correct?

1. Me went to Hogwarts.
2. I went to Hogwarts.
(Hint: It's number two. We don't want to speak like cavemen.) :D

You should use subject with me as you would use me if the subject of the sentence been singular. For example:

The okapi went to the cinema with Augustus Waters and me.

Pick between the singular subjects if it helps:

1. The okapi went to the cinema with me.
2. The okapi went to the cinema with I.
(It's number one.)

Hopefully this helped!
